Taylor Wedding

I am happy to finally be able to post these! I second shot with Ashley Wiktorek of Ashley Wiktorek Photography for Drew and Nikki Taylor's Wedding late this Summer.  Ashley and I were on the same hall during my Sophomore year at Liberty. She needed a second shooter and I was definitely all aboard with helping her out!  I was really excited about having the opportunity to learn so much and definitely did!  The day was fantastic!

Here are some of my favorite shots from the Taylor's wedding.   I want to always start with the details! I feel as though its the little things mean the most on a day like this!

One thing I absolutely loved about the details of this wedding was how she integrated her favorite color: Green

with other coordinations of black and white.  Since I am biased to the use of Black and White (especially with my editing),  I really liked capturing those details!

After this wedding, I realized how much I like first looks.  I believe that I will actually want to do the same for my wedding.  I believe that it helps save a LOT of time.  Here are a few of my favorites!ImageImageImage

Nikki had a BEAUTIFUL dress! I managed to help Ashley in getting a different angle of her bridal session before the ceremony.Image

Here are a few of my favorites from the ceremony. ImageImageImageImageImage

After the ceremony, we went back to where they shot their first looks and grabbed a few post wedding portraits.  I really loved how these turned out. ImageImageImageImageImage

Here are a few additional favorites from the reception!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Congratulations Nikki and Drew!

Taylor Wedding Sneak Peak

I had the opportunity to be a second shooter for the Taylor's Wedding!  Finally got them all edited and just wanted to give you all a sneak peak!Image

Iphoto... *Designer Launch Party*

So I am in the process of getting new software for my Mac for editing, so I had to edit these series of images through Iphoto.  I feel as though that word is like death to fellow photographers, but that was what I had to work with this time.  To be honest, it really did a LOT better than I thought it would.  I mean, it isn't going to get down to fully complete editing to fit my style, but it was nice to do basic editing.  If your composition and everything is basically straightened out as you shoot and you just wanted to bump up more contrast or something of the sort, then Iphoto would work fine.  However, if you want to do more with your images, we all know that Iphoto is definitely NOT the route to go.

Well, anyways,  I have been asked to be the photographer for the FACS Association Fashion show in April of next year. I'm pretty excited about it because I have the opportunity to get so much more things for my portfolio and I have something additional to do.  I will be taking shots of basically the whole process leading up to the Fashion show.  So the first event was the Designer Launch Party.  I was able to get some REALLY nice ones.  I also used my new flash for the first time.  I still have some things to learn, but I was really impressed with how much it had helped me with shooting indoors.  I think me and indoor shooting are going to become friends soon!

Well, here are some of my favorite shots of the evening
